Cairns and Lizard Island Australian Escapade

Upon arrival in Cairns, you'll be greeted by your driver for a private transfer to The Shangri-La Hotel, The Marina, Cairns in a Deluxe City/ Garden View Room or Similiar. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. (B) 

Experience the ultimate reef and island adventure on this full-day tour.  Begin with a fast 45-minute catamaran ride to the stunning Green Island, a 6,000 year-old coral cay set within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World.  Spend time discovering Green Island's unique blend of reef and rainforest. Snorkel, take a stroll through the lush tropical rainforest, relax on the soft white coral sands, or join of the many optional activities on the island. From Green Island, continue your journey to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Here, you'll enjoy three hours on board the spacious reef activity platform, the ideal base for both swimmers and non-swimmers. Snorkel or dive among vibrant coral gardens, view the reef from the underwater observatory, or take a semi-submersible coral viewing tour. You will be privately transferred from your Cairns hotel to the airport, where you will board a flight to Lizard Island. Delight in a morning or afternoon picnic on a secluded beach, or take advantage of unlimited stand-up paddle boards and clear-view sea kayaks to fully immerse yourself in the stunning marine environment.
